Requirements

What are the minimum requirements?

• Microsoft® Windows® 98 or later operating system 
  
• RAM according to the following guidelines:
• 16 MB for Windows 98 systems
• 32 MB for Windows NT®
• 64 MB for Windows 2000 or later 
  
• Approximately 15MB plus 10% of total hard drive space available (for example, if you have a 10GB hard drive, you should have 1GB available space) 
  
• Internet connection, with a minimum of a 56 kbps or faster modem (a direct connection is recommended, such as a cable modem, DSL, or other LAN)

What type of connection do I need?
You need a reliable, dedicated Internet connection, the faster the better.  This connection could be 56K, ISDN, cable modem, DSL, T1 or T3. The faster your connection, the more efficiently your backups will run.

Will Agency Backup work on a non-Windows computer?

No, however you can map a drive to a non-Windows computer and still backup its data.
